New PH Ambassador to Brazil Meets Brasilia Filipino Community

Ambassador Mauro joins the Filipino Community in Brasilia for a commemorative photo.

BRASILIA 20 April 2018 – Philippine Ambassador to Brazil Marichu Mauro met with the Filipino Community on 15 April to assure them of the Embassy’s commitment to promote and protect their rights and welfare while they are living and working in Brazil.

“Nandito kami para sa inyo - para pangalagaan ang inyong kapakanan habang kayo ay nasa labas ng ating bansa,” said the Ambassador, who has just recently begun her tour of duty. Ambassador Mauro arrived in Brazil on 06 April.

Most of the Filipino who attended the gathering work for members of Brasilia’s diplomatic community. They were elated that a Philippine Ambassador is again in residence in Brazil. END
