PH Embassy Joins 1000 Steps for Peace in Manama

MANAMA 23 April 2018 – The Philippine Embassy in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain, led by Philippine Ambassador Alfonso A. Ver (third from right), joined the “1000 Steps for Peace Walkathon” organized by Bahrain’s Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs as part of its celebration of the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace held at the Avenues Park in Manama 14 April. The event was graced by Minister for Youth and Sports Affairs Hisham Al Jowder. Ambassador Ver, Labor Attaché Vicente M. Cabe (extreme right) and other Embassy officials were joined by Ms. Nadia Muradi, Board Member of the Bahrain Tennis Federation and Manager of the Bapco Ladies Basketball Team (extreme left), at the starting line of the “1000 Steps for Peace Walkathon.”.
