PH Embassy in Rome Serves Filipinos in Malta

Reaching out to Malta. Embassy Passport encoders serve Malta-based Filipinos in renewing their passports during the consular outreach mission in St. Julian's, Malta on 14-15 April 2018.

ROME 23 April 2018 – The Philippine Embassy in Rome processed a total of 1,037 transactions in Malta from 14-15 April.  Majority of the services that the Filipinos in Malta availed of were passport renewals.  Apart from the Embassy, representatives from Philippine Overseas Labor Office in Rome (POLO-Rome), Overseas Workers Welfare Association (OWWA), Pag-IBIG, and Social Security System (SSS) joined the mobile consular team.

This consular outreach is first of two missions to Malta scheduled for 2018 by the Philippine Embassy in Rome. There are over 3,000 Filipinos estimated to be residing and working in Malta.
