PH Embassy in Ankara Meets, Serves FilCom in Baku, Azerbaijan

ANKARA 23 April 2018 – The Philippine Embassy in Ankara, Turkey, led by newly-arrived Consul General Enrıque V. Pıngol, meets with the Filipino Community and discusses the pressing issues affecting Filipinos in Azerbaijan and the policies and programs of President Rodrıgo Duterte implemented by the DFA under Foreıgn Affaırs Secretary Alan Peter S. Cayetano to promote and protect the rıghts and welfare of overseas Filipinos workers. The Embassy team rendered and processed 22 applıcatıons for e-passports, 24 Embassy IDs, 1 notarıal and 1 visa application to over 50 Filipinos in Baku, Azerbaijan on 08 April.

The Embassy holds a digital photo exhibit on “The Filipina: Trail-blazers, Decision-Makers, Leaders, Advocates” for the vıewıng of the Fılıpıno Communıty to mark National Women’s Month 2018 with the theme We Make Change Work for Women.
