The Philippine Delegation to the 2018 Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group, co-led by Budget Secretary Benjamin Diokno and Senator Loren Legarda reviewed the impact of World Bank-supported Philippine programs centered on social protection and community-driven development (CDD) at a Technical Dialogue hosted by the World Bank Group Country Management Unit on 20 April 2018 in Washington, D.C.
Senator Loren Legarda shares her comments and observation on three (3) flagship programs of the Philippine Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) during the Technical Dialogue on Social Protection and Community-Driven Development hosted by the World Bank Group Country Management Unit on 20 April 2018 in Washington, D.C. The programs are the Listahanan or the National Household Targeting System for Poverty Reduction (NHTS-PR); the Conditional Cast Transfer (CCT) or Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program or 4Ps; and the Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services (Kalahi-CIDSS) Program. Dr. Mara Warwick, World Bank Country Director for Brunei, Malaysia, Philippines and Thailand, headed the World Bank delegation to the Dialogue. END
