PH Medical Association in Chicago President Calls On PH Consul General

CHICAGO 26 April 2018 – Consul General Gina A. Jamoralin (left) receives Dr. Natividad P. Bernardino (right), President of the Philippine Medical Association in Chicago on 23 April 2018, to bolster ties and cooperation with the Filipino-American community in the Midwest. The Consul General expressed her sympathies over the loss of seven PMAC members due to a tragic vehicular accident in Cebu early this year, just days prior to their scheduled medical and surgical mission to the island province of Camiguin. Consul General Jamoralin and Dr. Bernardino discussed opportunities to work together to promote and preserve Filipino culture and tradition among the millennial generation of Filipino-Americans, such as the upcoming Ambassadors’ Tour, exposure or immersion programs, and art exhibits.
