PH Participates in Austrian Federal Economic Chamber’s Forum

VIENNA 30 APRIL 2018 - Consul General Sulpicio M. Confiado (left) and Consul Leilani S. Feliciano (center) represented the Philippines in the Breakfast Forum for Diplomats held at the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (Wirtschaftskammer Österreich or WKÖ) on 19 April 2018 chaired by Dr. Robert Luck (right), Regional Director for South and Southeast Asia. The WKÖ showcased its various programs in Austria and in the different ASEAN capitals for 2018. The Philippines will be participating in the following programs: 1) Austrian Business Delegation (Engineering Know How) to Indonesia and the Philippines, May 14-18; 2) Road Show by Austrian Trade Commissioners featuring ASEAN and the Silk Road Initiative, June 4 & 5; 3) Catalogue Exhibition— Philippines- Infrastructure Congress and Expo Philippines, June 27-29; 4) “Marketplace Austria"— it offers buyers from all over the world the opportunity to meet Austrian suppliers and producers from the food and drinks sector and to find new business partners, October 17; and 5) Austrian Business Delegation (Medical Technology Know How), November 7-9. Likewise, the Philippines will partake in “The Future of Building 2018” a 2-day conference and exhibition aimed to boost the internationalization of the Austrian building and construction sector.
