PH Ambassador Presents Letters of Credence to Brazilian President
Ambassador Mauro hands over her letters of credence to Brazilian President, H.E. Mr. Michel Temer at the Planalto Palace on 25 April 2018
BRASILIA 30 April 2018 — Philippine Ambassador to the Federative Republic of Brazil Marichu Mauro presented her letters of credence to the Brazilian President. H.E. Mr. Michel Temer at the Planalto Palace on 25 April 2018.
During her presentation, Ambassador Mauro conveyed the wishes of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte of good health and prosperity of President Temer and the Brazilian people. President Temer wish to develop stronger ties between the two countries.
The ceremony ended with Ambassador Mauro descending the ramp of Planalto Palace flanked by presidential Guards symbolically representing that she is officially the Philippine Ambassador to the Federative Republic of Brazil.
The Philippines and Brazil established diplomatic relations on July 1946. END
