Consulate General in Dubai Lectures on Filipino Diaspora

DUBAI 02 May 2018 – Philippine Consul General in Dubai Paul Raymund Cortes (sixth from left) conducted a Lecture on the Filipino Diaspora and the Role of Overseas Filipinos in Nation Building at the American University of Sharjah. Some 70 students and school administrators including the officers of the Philippines Social Club of the University attended the lecture. The Consul General frequently conducts lectures on Philippine culture, Philippine history, Philippine economic developments, ASEAN awareness, and Philippine foreign policy priorities as part of the Consulate’s strategy to increase awareness of the Filipino people and boost the image of the Filipino particularly to the academic society of the UAE.
