Canada Member of Parliament Calls On PH Ambassador

OTTAWA 02 May 2018 — Hon. Joe Peschisolido, Member of Parliament (MP), called on Ambassador Petronila P. Garcia at the Embassy of the Philippines on 24 April 2018. MP Peschisolido informed Ambassador Garcia of his desire to strengthen parliamentary linkages between the Philippines and Canada considering that the constituency in Steveston - Richmond East which he represents has a large community of Filipino descent.  He mentioned that he regularly communicates with the Filipino community in Richmond, especially those who are involved in civic and pastoral work.
