Tripoli  bonifacio day1

10 December 2013 - The Philippine Embassy and the Philippine Community School in Tripoli (PCS-T) celebrated the 150th Birth Anniversary of Andres Bonifacio on December 05 at the school’s grounds.

Consul General Renato N. Dueñas, Jr. representing Ambassador Oscar Orcine, in a special message, stressed the significant contributions of Andres Bonifacio in Philippine history which led to the Philippine Revolution and the freedom of our country from the Spaniards.

PCS-T students participated in the following special presentations:

·         Awit: “Ako ay Pilipino” (Kindergarten)

·         Tula: “Mabuhay ka Ka Andy “ (Christoff Daniel G. Manset at Keona Capablanca, mga Mag-aaral sa Unang Baitang, Gr. I)

·         Sabayang Tula: “Ang mga Cazadores ni Andres Bonifacio” (Gr. 3 at 4)

·         Sabayang Bigkas: “Pag-ibig sa Tinubuang Lupa “ (Gr. 5 and 6)

·         Tableau: “ Andres Bonifacio, Huwarang Pambansang Idolo” (Highschool Students)

At the last part of the program, Ms. Aleth V. Ramirez, Principal of PCS-T, spoke about the life and heroism of Andres Bonifacio which she said is integrated in  lessons to students. She thanked everyone who participated in the program as she  invited all the students to view the exhibit set up by the Embassy and PCS-T management and faculty.


An exhibit on the timeline of Andres Bonifacio and drawings of PCS-T students, with the theme: “Andres Bonifacio, sa Mata ng mga Kabataang Pilipino”  went on display at PCS-T. END
