PH Consulate General in Dubai Welcomes Congressional Delegation

DUBAI 04 May 2018 – Philippine Consul General in Dubai Paul Raymund Cortes welcomed the Congressional delegation to the Arabian Travel Market at the Philippine Consulate General on 25 April. The Consul General provided a comprehensive briefing on the consular, assistance-to-nationals, and economic diplomacy accomplishments and thrusts of the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai to Congressmen Wesley Gatchalian (Valenzuela), Paolo Javier (Antique), Alfredo Garbin (Party List),and Scott Lanete (Masbate). The four Congressmen also visited the 139 wards at the Migrant Worker for Overseas Filipinos Resource Center or MWOFRC, reiterating to them the Government’s commitment to assist them in their clearance procedures and eventual repatriation.
