PH Embassy Conducts Consular, Voting Registration in Buraidah, Al Qassim, KSA
RIYADH 04 May 2018 – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia successfully held its 12th consular outreach mission or “Embassy on Wheels” (EOW) in 2018 at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Buraidah on 13 to 14 April. The Team was able to process 423 e-Passport applications, 21 Extension of Passport Validity, 8 Report of Birth, 133 Notarial Services and 2 Authentication. The Team was also able to release 361 new e-Passports. The next consular outreach mission will be in Double Tree Hotel in Dhahran on 23 to 26 April.
The Embassy successfully conducts its ninth Overseas Voting (OV) Registration Outreach for the year 2018 at Golden Tulip Hotel Buraidah, Al Qassim, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 13 to 14 April. The two-day registration outreach was conducted in parallel with the Embassy-On-Wheels Consular Outreach headed by Vice Consul Noel L. Rodriguez. The OV Team was able to register 152 new Overseas Voters, 211 for the Certifications, 28 for Reactivation and facilitated 6 Transfer of registration records.
The Embassy invites all Filipinos in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to register as overseas voters in order to exercise their right to suffrage that would enable them to vote for the Senatorial Elections in 2019. The next schedule of OV Mobile Registration will be at Dhahran, Eastern Region on 23 to 28 April.
