MACAU 04 May 2018 – Cultural Officer Jocelyn A. Bianzon-Carbonell represented the Consulate General in the celebration of the 64th Anniversary (“Open Day”) of Macao Sam Yuk (MSY) Middle School, a Seventh-Day Adventist School in Macau that offers both English and Chinese medium and has an international standard curriculum.
MSY “Open Day” is observed annually to give chance to parents and friends of the students to explore the school and to witness activities like the Parade of Flags, International Food Fair, Science Exhibit Fair, Primary Student’s performances, raffle and games.
MSY has a number of Filipinos in its Faculty. Most of the children of Macau PCG personnel are studying in the said school along with children of other members of the Filipino community. They enthusiastically showcase Philippine culture by wearing Filipiniana, preparing and serving native delicacies and donating Philippine-made products in the bazaar. END
