PH Embassy Delivers Consular Services, Overseas Voting Registration in Cyprus

CYPRUS 04 May 2018 – The Philippine Embassy in Athens, Greece, with the support and cooperation of the Philippine Honorary Consulate in Nicosia, the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) in Athens, and the Pag-IBIG Representative Office in Athens, conducted a consular outreach, overseas voting (OV) registration, POLO, OWWA and Pag-IBIG services, for the Filipino Community in Limassol, Cyprus on 20 April and in Nicosia, Cyprus on 21 to 22 April.
The consular outreach team processed 394 passport renewals, 4 replacement of lost passports, 8 Reports of Marriage, 3 Reports of Birth (ROB), 5 affidavits (Jurat), 1 reacquisition of Philippine citizenship, 1 certificate of oath of allegiance, 200 overseas voting registration/certification, 23 change of address, 19 reactivation of overseas voting records, 12 transfer of registration, 2 recapture of biometrics, 2 correction of entries, 195 renewal of Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) membership, and 298 updating of Pag-IBIG contributions.
Chargé d’Affaires, a.i., Minister and Consul General Rosario P. Lemque, administers the oath of allegiance to an applicant who re-acquired her Philippine citizenship under under R.A. 9225 (Citizenship Retention and Reacquisition Act of 2003).
