VICTORIA 08 May 2018 — The Philippine Embassy in Kenya conducted a consular mission and a Post Arrival Orientation Seminar to members of the Filipino Community in Seychelles on 21-24 April 2018.

The Embassy team informed them of the specifics of the new 10-year validity of the passport, its proper uses and requirements. The Embassy team likewise registered Filipinos for Overseas Voting and its own Overseas Filipino registration system. The Filipino community was reminded that they were guests in Seychelles and that they should not do any acts that might jeopardize their status in the country. The Embassy provided them with all the hotline contacts should they need any assistance from the Philippine Embassy.

The Embassy team also awarded Certificates to Mr. and Mrs. Edgar and Anna Liza Alvarez for their assistance in providing ATN Services to Filipinos in Seychelles. The couple has been the Embassy’s partner in monitoring the conditions of Filipinos in Seychelles in the past several years. END
