ASEAN Committee in Abu Dhabi Recognizes PH Ambassador
ABU DHABI 10 May 2018 – Philippine Ambassador to the UAE Constancio R. Vingno, Jr. (middle) receives a specially-carved plate made of pewter from H.E. Dato’ Syed Mohd Hasrin, Malaysian Ambassador to the UAE and current Chairman of the ASEAN Committee in Abu Dhabi (ACAD) (third from left) during its luncheon meeting at the Official Residence of the Ambassador of Indonesia to the UAE on 02 May 2018. The plate was awarded by Malaysian Ambassador to UAE Dato’ Syed Mohd Hasrin, Chairman of ACAD, to Ambassador Vingno while noting the latter’s contributions that led to the success of ASEAN-related activities in UAE, including the 50th Anniversary celebration of ASEAN, and ASEAN Bowling Tournament. The group also wished Ambassador Vingno success in his future endeavors. For his part, Ambassador Vingno thanked the group and expressed hope that all future activities of ASEAN in the UAE will continue to be successful and meaningful.
