PH Embassy Launches Abu Dhabi-Based Filipino Artwork

ABU DHABI 18 May 2018 – The Philippine Embassy in Abu Dhabi celebrated the 2018 National Heritage Month by launching the artwork entitled “Salin” by Abu Dhabi-based Filipino artist Aler L. Auro at the Philippine Embassy on 13 May 2018. In his remarks, Ambassador Constancio R. Vingno Jr. expressed his gratitude to Auro, who has produced a number of artworks in Abu Dhabi. In his message, Auro said that the concept of “Salin” was inspired by real events in his home, highlighting the importance of teaching children good deeds and Filipino family values.
