PH Consul General in Chicago Calls on Chinese Counterpart

CHICAGO 25 May 2018 – Consul General Gina A. Jamoralin of the Philippine Consulate General in Chicago paid a courtesy visit on Consul General Hong Lei (right) of the People’s Republic of China on 17 May 2018 to discuss relevant issues and the significant roles their respective communities play in the ongoing celebration of the Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. The two also had a very informative and honest discussion amid the improved official relations between their two countries. Consul General Hong served as Spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry before taking on his present assignment as Chinese Consul General in Chicago in 2016. (DFA Photo by Romulo V. Israel Jr.)
