PH Consulate General, Jeddah Chamber Strengthens Ties

JEDDAH 25 May 2018 – The Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah, led by Consul General Edgar Badajos met with officials of the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) led by Vice Chairmen Mazen M. Batterjee and Ziad Bassam Al-Bassam to discuss ways on how to further strengthen trade relations between the Philippines and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The conduct of trade fairs and missions focusing on food and pharmaceuticals products were initial projects discussed during the meeting. Both sides agreed that there is still a big opportunity to strengthen trade between the Philippines and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. They promised to continue discussions on specific projects which can be implemented within the year. END
