PH Culture Featured in Jakarta’s 3rd Atma Jaya Intercultural Day

JAKARTA 25 May 2018 — The Philippine Embassy in Jakarta participated in the 3rd Atma Jaya University Intercultural Day with the theme, “From Food We Learn Cultures” held on 16 May. The whole day event was held to raise awareness and understanding of intercultural differences between the Atma Jaya Catholic University academic community and its 30 high school and university partners in Jakarta and Bandung.
During the celebration, the Embassy displayed and distributed Philippine cultural, tourism, education and trade products to the teachers, students and guests of the event.
The Embassy also provided participants with a taste of Filipino delicacies and snacks - with servings of biko and turon which were among the most-liked delicacies enjoyed by the guests. END
