Consulate General in NY Conducts 2nd Consulate Saturday for 2018

NEW YORK 25 May 2018 — The Philippine Consulate General in New York conducted its second Consulate Saturday on 05 May.
A total of 53 ePassport applications were processed, 35 documents notarized, and 11 individuals took their oath as Filipino citizens under R.A. 9225 or the "Citizenship Retention and Re-acquisition Act of 2003."
The 2nd Consulate Saturday coincided with the 2018 Wardens General Assembly, which was held at the Kalayaan Hall of the Philippine Center.
Representatives from SSS, PAG-IBIG, and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration will be invited to join the next Consulate Saturdays scheduled on 04 August, and 03 November.
Consulate Saturdays are part of the Philippine Consulate General’s Outreach Program to make consular services more accessible to its clients. END
