Ambassador Jocelyn Batoon-Garcia Presents Her Credentials to President Sauli Niinistö of Finland

HELSINKI 07 June 2018 – Ambassador Jocelyn Batoon-Garcia was welcomed by President Sauli Niinistö of the Republic of Finland at the Presidential Palace, Helsinki on 24 May 2018. The ceremony started with military honors for Ambassador Batoon-Garcia followed by the playing of the Philippine National Anthem by the Finnish Military Band. During her Presentation of Credentials, Ambassador Batoon-Garcia conveyed the well wishes of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte to President Niinistö and the Finnish people. She and President Niinistö had an interesting discussion on several topics of mutual interest. The Philippine and Finland established diplomatic relations on 14 July 1955.
