ABU DHABI 07 June 2018 – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MOFAIC) of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) hosted a farewell ceremony in honor of outgoing Ambassador to the UAE Constancio R. Vingno Jr. of the Philippines and Guts Lingental of Germany at the St. Regis Hotel, Corniche, in Abu Dhabi on 03 June 2018.

In his farewell message, Ambassador Vingno thanked MOFAIC and the other ministries he has worked with in enhancing Philippines-UAE bilateral relations, as well as in advancing the welfare of nearly 700,000 Filipinos in the UAE. He also thanked colleagues in the diplomatic community for the support and friendship extended to him and to his family.

Assistant Undersecretary for Protocol Affairs Shihab Ahmed Mohamed Al Faheem presented Ambassador Vingno with a commemorative gift marking the occasion, and conveyed his good wishes on his retirement and future endeavors. 

The ceremony was attended by government officials and heads of diplomatic missions and international organizations in the UAE. END
