Consul General Invites British Columbia Minister of Jobs, Trade and Technology to the Philippines

VANCOUVER 07 June 2018 – Consul General in Vancouver, Canada Neil Frank R. Ferrer reiterated his hope that a British Columbia trade mission to the Philippines would push through, and that the Minister of Jobs, Trade and Technology of British Columbia Bruce Ralston could be part of the visiting delegation.

In his farewell call to the B.C. Minister, Consul General Ferrer also encouraged Minister Ralston to look at Southeast Asia, which has a collective market of close to 700 million people, as a good place to build long-term relations, and consider the Philippines as Canada’s gateway to the ASEAN region. 

Minister Ralston presented Consul General Ferrer with a recognition plaque from the B.C. Government. END
