PH Consulate General Welcomes SSS Outreach in Chicago

CHICAGO 13 June 2018 — Consul General Gina A. Jamoralin welcomed Social Security System Representative in San Francisco Marites Marin, and Philippine National Bank (PNB) Area Manager for Illinois Arsenio Odulio at the Kalayaan Hall of the Philippine Consulate General in Chicago.
The SSS outreach in Chicago from 07 to 08 June 2018 provided service to SSS members who wanted to continue their disrupted contribution, restructure their loans, and avail of SSS's interest-condonation offer.
Marin also assisted in filing of SSS members' pension claims an processed annual membership confirmations. The SSS official advised members on how they can avail of the benefits that SSS provides.
On the other hand, Odulio assured SSS members who reside in the United States that PNB is authorized by SSS to accept monthly premium payments. He also informed the members that pensioners could withdraw their benefits from PNB Remittance Centers at Dempster (Niles), or at Seafood City (Elston Avenue, Chicago).
SSS has scheduled its next outreach in Chicago tentatively in the first week of September 2018. END
