PH Embassy Conducts Consular Mission in Indonesia’s Second Largest City

Jakarta 08 June 2018 - The Philippine Embassy in Jakarta, led by Ambassador to Indonesia Lee Hiong Tan Wee, organized a consular mission in Surabaya, Indonesia’s second largest city, during the Filipino community’s celebration of the 120th anniversary of Philippine independence on 03 June 2018.
Besides passport renewal and overseas voter registration, the consular mission was also organized to check on the welfare of the Filipino community in Surabaya following the spate of bombings in the city in May 2018.
Surabaya is home to nearly 300 Filipinos, working mostly as teachers and managers. END
