PH Embassy Holds Consular Outreach, Overseas Voter Registration in Cyprus

ATHENS 02 July 2018 — The Philippine Embassy in Athens, Greece conducted a consular outreach and overseas voting (OV) registration at the Philippine Honorary Consulate in Nicosia, Cyprus on 23 to 24 June 2018.
Two-hundred and fifty-seven applications for renewal of passports, 173 applications for OV registration/certification, seven applications for transfer of voting records, 13 applications for reactivation of overseas voting records, 24 applications for change of address of overseas voters, three applications for correction of entries, two applications for recapture of biometrics, 113 applications for renewal of membership with the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), and 207 applications for the updating of Pag-IBIG contributions were processed by the Embassy during the two-day mission.
The consular outreach was successfully conducted with the support and cooperation of the Philippine Consulate in Nicosia, Cyprus led by Honorary Consul Shemaine A. Bushnell-Kyriakides, Philippine Overseas Labor Office, OWWA, Pag-IBIG Representative Office in Athens, Greece, and the volunteers from the Filipino Community in Cyprus. END
