PH Embassy in Athens Reaches Out to Filipinos in Corfu, Greece

ATHENS 05 July 2018 — The Philippine Embassy in Athens conducted a consular outreach and Overseas Voting (OV) registration in Corfu, Greece on 01 July 2018.
The Consular Team was led by Second Secretary and Consul Judy Barbara G. Robianes, and also included Labor Attaché Melchor B. Dizon; Welfare Officer Rosalia Susana S. Bahia-Catapang, and Pag-IBIG Representative Jean V. Santos.
During the one-day outreach, the consular team processed: 28 applications for renewal of passports, two Special Powers of Attorney, one Affidavit of Support and Consent, nine applications for overseas voting registration/certification, 19 applications for reactivation of overseas voting records, 15 applications for change of address of overseas voters, one application for correction of entries of overseas voter, one application for recapture of biometrics of overseas voter, 15 applications for renewal of membership with the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), 25 applications for updating of Pag-IBIG contributions, and 24 contract forms for Overseas Filipino Workers with work permits.
The consular outreach was successfully conducted with the support and cooperation of the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO), OWWA, the Pag-IBIG representative office in Athens, and the Filipino Community in Corfu, Greece led by the Unity Group of Corfu Organization. END
