PH Embassy in Seoul Conducts Consular Outreach in Daegu

SEOUL 06 July 2018 – The Philippine Embassy in South Korea conducted its two-day consular outreach mission in Daegu Metropolitan City, the fourth largest city in South Korea after Seoul, Busan and Incheon, on 29 and 30 June 2018.

The consular mission, the third for the year, was held at the Catholic Workers’ Center in downtown Daegu, in coordination with the Daegu Filipino Community Council and the Daegu Catholic Workers’ Center.

The six-member consular team was led by Third Secretary and Vice Consul Ella Karina R. Mitra. The team was also joined by PAG-IBIG Member Services Officer Dominic Leoligao.

The Consular Team tallied a total of 397 cases of passport applications, civil registration, notarials, travel documents, NBI clearances, and certifications during the two-day outreach. 

Daegu, which is 238 kilometers south of Seoul, is home to over 1,600 Filipinos. END
