UST Singers’ Stellar Performance in Goslar Earns Ovations

BERLIN 12 July 2018 – The University of Santo Tomas Singers (UST Singers), under the baton of Fidel Gener Calalang Jr., earned ovations at their concert at the Saint Benno Jurgenhöl Kirche in Goslar, Lower Saxony, Germany last 24 June 2018.

A 400-strong mostly German audience was very much impressed by the group’s versatility as they presented sacred, spiritual, international, modern, folk, and popular music. 

The UST Singers is currently on its 34th International Concert Tour, carrying on with its mission as ambassadors of goodwill and the promoters of Filipino culture and heritage worldwide through choral excellence.

Since its founding in 1992, the UST Singers has won more than 80 top prizes from international choral competitions, including the 1995 and 2010 Choir of the World Luciano Pavarotti Grand Prize in Llangollen, Wales, bringing pride to Filipinos both in the Philippines and abroad. END
