Filipino Talent Wins Performing Arts Competition in Armenia

MOSCOW 20 July 2018 – A Filipino talent from Iloilo City dominated the Fifth International Festival and Competition of Performing Arts “Championship of Caucasus 2018,” held in Yerevan, Armenia on 07-12 July 2018.
Clem Marnel Burgos, a 4th year Mass Communication student from Central Philippine University in Iloilo City, represented the Philippines in said competition, and won first place for his theatrical piece about a mentally-ill patient. Burgos got a perfect score of ten from all the judges for his exceptional performance.
The “Championship of Caucasus” was organized by the World Association of Performing Arts. END
