PH Ambassador to Mexico Presents Credentials to President of El Salvador

EL SALVADOR 23 July 2018 — Philippine Ambassador to Mexico Demetrio R. Tuason, presented his credentials as non-resident Philippine Ambassador to El Salvador to President Salvador Sánchez Cerén on 05 July 2018.
During the brief ceremony, Ambassador Tuason conveyed to President Sánchez the cordial greetings of President Rodrigo Duterte.
He presented his credentials alongside 16 other non-resident Ambassadors concurrently accredited to El Salvador.
In his meeting with Vice Foreign Minister Castañeda on 06 July 2018, Ambassador Tuason discussed issues of mutual interest, including candidatures and enhancement of bilateral trade and investment relations.
In addition to his meeting with officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Tuason also met with high-ranking officials from the Ministries of Economy, Finance and Defense, members of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, and members of the Filipino Community in El Salvador. END
