VANCOUVER 27 July 2018 — Consul General to Vancouver Maria Andrelita S. Austria received InterAsia Outsource Inc. (IOI) Chairman Ramon Atayde and President Lourdes Querubin in a courtesy call on the Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver on 24 July 2018.
The call aimed to introduce their company and their services, as part of their mission to establish closer linkages with embassies in Canada.
IOI is a Philippine Overseas Employment Administration-licensed overseas manpower and recruitment company that has been in operation for the past 11 years, deploying thousands of Filipino professional and skilled workers to countries like Australia, Africa, Panama and Japan.
One of their major clients is Canada-based mining and metals company First Quantum Minerals Ltd., to which IOI supplies Filipino workers from project engineers to cooks.
IOI reportedly adheres to an employer-pays-all policy which makes it one of only six recruitment companies in the Philippines that are non-fee charging agencies, and earned it a place in the Association for Professionalism in Overseas Employment Inc. (ASPROE) in August of 2009. As part of ASPROE, IOI guarantees that it selects and deploys the best-qualified skilled and professional workers. END
