PH, Poland To Forge Agreements on Labor, Social Security Cooperation

WARSAW 30 July 2018 – The Philippine Embassy in Warsaw and officials of the Ministry Family, Labour and Social Policy of Poland agreed to forge bilateral agreements on labor and social security cooperation.

In a meeting at the Ministry, Philippine Ambassador to Poland Patricia Ann V. Paez and Deputy Minister Stanislaw Szwed discussed labor and social security cooperation matters. Both countries agreed to work on the drafts of the said agreements, prior to their signing by Philippine and Polish officials.

Deputy Minister Szwed stated that Poland needs Filipino workers in information technology, construction and nursing sectors.

Also in the meeting were Embassy personnel Consul Maria Alnee A. Gamble and Imelda de Joya. Other Polish officials who participated in the meeting were Director Monika Szostak, Deputy Director Magadalena Swekiej, and Iga Wermińska-Wiśnicka. END
