PH Embassy Offers Free Myanmar Language Classes to Filipinos in Myanmar

YANGON 02 August 2018 – The Philippine Embassy in Yangon launched its first Myanmar Language Class composed of 15 students, at the Embassy’s Sentro Rizal on 24 July 2018.

Myanmar classes were offered to Filipinos in Myanmar for free to help them adjust to working and living in Myanmar.

Joemar Ubiña, a Filipino who has lived in Myanmar for 14 years, volunteered to conduct the program. He is currently a teacher in Dagon High School.

The Myanmar language class course will be composed of 15 sessions, with certificates being issued to the students upon completion of the course. END
