PH Embassy in Brunei Attends the Opening of First Filipino Association 9-Ball Billiards Tournament

BRUNEI 06 August 2018 – Philippine Embassy officials, led by Vice Consul Jaybee B. Arguillas, attended the opening of the first 9-Ball Billiards Tournament organized by the Filipino Association at the Master Alim Pool Cafe, Kiulap, Brunei Darussalam on 29 July 2018.

A total of 22 players competed in the one-day tournament.

During the opening ceremony, Vice Consul Arguillas commended the officers and members of the Association, who organized the tournament, and encouraged them to hold activities that foster camaraderie among the members of the Filipino Community.

The Embassy fully supports the activities organized by Filipino Community organizations, including sports events that promote healthy lifestyle and strengthens fellowship among the Filipino nationals in Brunei Darussalam. END
