PH Embassy in Brunei Attends the Opening of Pinoy Bowler’s Club Bowling Tournament

BRUNEI 07 August 2018 – Philippine Embassy officials, led by Chargé d’ Affaires Pete Raymond V. Delfin, attended the opening of the Season 3 Bowling Tournament organized by the Pinoy Bowler’s Club of Brunei (PBC) at the IBowl, Utama Bowling Center in Bandar Seri Begawan on 24 July 2018.

A total of 12 teams will be competing in the tournament which will run for approximately eleven weeks.

In his message during the opening ceremony, Chargé d’ Affaires Delfin commended the officers and members of the PBC who organized the tournament and encouraged them to continue to be a strong partner of the Embassy in promoting programs for the Filipino Community. Embassy personnel also participated in a fun game during the event.

The Embassy fully supports the activities organized by Filipino Community organizations, including sports events that promote healthy lifestyle and strengthens fellowship among the Filipino nationals in Brunei Darussalam. END
