Fujian Company to Introduce Flood, Disaster Emergencies Equipment to PH

XIAMEN 09 August 2018 – Consul General to Xiamen Julius Caesar A. Flores recently met with officials of Fujian Qiaolong Emergency Equipment Co. Ltd. (Qiaolong), a company manufacturing hydraulic drive emergency drainage heavy equipment for urban waterlogging and other flood related disasters and emergencies on 02 August 2018.
The Company is the largest of its kind in China, having pioneered in the field of manufacturing heavy equipment for floods and other disasters.
Qiaolong President Lin Zhiguo informed Consul General Flores that he will lead a five-member delegation from his company and join Chinese government officials in the annual meeting of the International Emergency Response Association in the Philippines on 12 November 2018, where he will take it as an opportunity to promote their products.
Consul General Flores suggested that, in order to maximize their efforts to promote their products to the Philippine market, the Consulate General could facilitate in 2019 the visit of Philippine companies and government officials to the Qiaolong factory in Longyan City.
The Consul General also recommended that the company undertake a roadshow tour of selected Philippines cities and provinces which are the most flood-or disaster-prone to promote Qiaolong’s products.
Qiaolong is a RMB4-billion private company (with ten-percent government share) based in Longyan City in Fujian Province, and started operations 25 years ago. It is one of the biggest companies in China manufacturing emergency drainage equipment, supplying products to all major cities in China and exports to Thailand and Pakistan. END
