PH Consulate General in Macau Attends Anti-Narcotics Assistance Group Gathering

MACAU 10 August 2018 – The Philippine Consulate General in Macau attended the gathering of the Macau chapter of the Anti-Narcotics International Assistance Group (NARIAG), a Filipino Community organization, on 05 August 2018.

The Consulate General was represented by Assistance-to-Nationals Officer Antonio Allam Jr. during the gathering. Labor Attache Lamberto Ramon Pastrana and Welfare Officer Maria Zosima Santos also attended the said event.

Police Chief Superintendent General Rhodel O. Sermonia of the Police Community Relations Group (PCRG) of the Philippine National Police (PNP) served as the guest speaker during the event.

General Sermonia mentioned in his speech that the PNP, through the PCRG, has been mobilizing force multipliers and advocacy support groups—particularly overseas Filipino workers—in nurturing partnerships with the latter, purposely setting dialogues regarding their concerns on their work and families’ plight in the Philippines.

Leaders from the different Filipino Community organizations in Macau were also present during the said gathering. END
