PH Embassy in Greece Conducts Consular Outreach, Overseas Voting Registration in Rhodes

ATHENS 17SS August 2018 – The Philippine Embassy in Athens conducted a consular outreach and overseas voting (OV) registration in Rhodes, Greece on 29 July 2018.

The consular team was led by Second Secretary and Consul Judy Barbara G. Robianes, together with Labor Attaché Atty. Melchor B. Dizon and Welfare Officer Rosalia Susana S. Bahia-Catapang.

During the day-long consular outreach, the team processed 32 applications for passport renewals, five notarials, one report of marriage, seven applications for Balik Manggagawa online registration, and eight applications for renewal of Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) membership.

The team was also able to process ten applications for overseas voting registration or certification, eight applications for reactivation of overseas voting records, and five applications for change of address of overseas voters.

The consular outreach was successfully conducted with the support and cooperation of the OWWA, Philippine Overseas Labor Office, Father John Luke Gregory of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, and the Filipino Community in Rhodes, led by the Filipino Workers Association of Rhodes. END
