TORONTO 06 September 2018 – Coming from the heels of the successful official launch of Winter Escapade 6-It’s More Fun in The Philippines (WEIMFITPH 6) in Ottawa by the Philippine Embassy, the Philippine Consulate General in Toronto launched Winter Escapade 6 at the Consulate General’s consular area on 24 August 2018.
Consul General Rosalita S. Prospero exhorted the audience not to hesitate and waiver no more in joining the Winter Escapade 6, which she said could turn out to be an opportunity of a lifetime.
Consul Edna May G. Lazaro briefed the audience on the itinerary of the tour and discussed, among others, why the tour is the most cost efficient by calculating how much they are going to save if they join the tour as opposed to making their own arrangements for the same destinations.
Winter Escapade 6 is scheduled to take place from 28 January to 04 February 2019 and will tour the participants to Manila, the heritage town of Taal, Batangas, the white sand beaches of Nasugbu, and the majestic isles of El Nido, Palawan.
The launch was attended by around 70 individuals from the Greater Toronto Area, nearby areas and as far as Windsor, Ontario, a five-hour drive from Toronto. END
