National Defense College of the Philippines Confers Grants Distinguished Achievement Award on PH Ambassador to Timor-Leste

07 September 2018 — The National Defense College of the Philippines (NDCP) conferred Philippine Ambassador to Timor-Leste Abdulmaid Kiram Muin the Distinguished Achievement Award during an awarding ceremony held at the Manila Hotel on 17 August 2018.

The NDCP accorded the award to Ambassador Muin in recognition of his distinct achievement as a leading practitioner of national security administration, particularly in the field of international relations.

The Distinguished Achievement Award is granted annually by the NDCP to deserving alumni for their outstanding accomplishments or contributions in national security administration.

Ambassador Muin finished his Masters in National Security Administration (MNSA) at the NDCP in Fort Bonifacio in 1995, as a member of MNSA Regular Class Number 29. The MNSA course is a year-long master’s degree program that gives a holistic view of the principles and dynamics of national security.

The Ambassador also finished his General Staff Course at the Naval Education and Training Command in San Antonio, Zambales in 2001, earning him the rank of Captain in the Naval Reserve. END
