PH Embassy in Rome Holds Second Consular Outreach in Malta

ROME 07 September 2018 – The Philippine Embassy in Rome held its second consular outreach mission in Floriana, Malta on 01-02 September 2018.
The Embassy processed a total of 275 passport applications, 19 reports of birth, 12 reports of marriage, 79 authenticated contracts, 19 affidavits, and four certificates. Two individuals took the oath of allegiance to the Philippines.
Meanwhile, 174 Filipinos registered for overseas absentee voting for the 2019 Philippine midterm elections, which registration will run until 30 September 2018.
The Embassy’s partner agencies such as the Philippine Overseas Labor Office, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, Social Security System, and Pag-IBIG, also rendered services to hundreds of Filipinos living and/or working in Malta.
The Embassy aims to strengthen its capacity to conduct consular outreach missions in Malta in view of the increasing number of Filipinos there. END
