PH Boxer Wins Bronze in Budapest

BUDAPEST 07 September 2018 — Eighteen-year-old Criztian Pitt Laurente won a bronze medal in the bantam weight division of the AIBA World Youth Boxing Championships in Budapest on 28 August 2018.
Three other Philippine youth boxers represented the Philippines: women’s flyweight Jima Baja light flyweight Criz Russu Laurente, and flyweight Niño Anduyan. They were accompanied by their coaches Patricio Gaspi and Elias Recaido and team manager Jeaneth Aro.
Sixty-five countries with 359 boxers participated in this biennial boxing event held on 21 to 31 August 2018. END
