PNP Chief Leads PH Delegation to ASEANAPOL Conference in Brunei

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN 12 September 2018 – The Philippine Embassy in Brunei said that Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Police Director General Oscar D. Albayalde headed the Philippine delegation to the 38^th ASEAN National Police (ASEANAPOL) Conference held at International Convention Centre (ICC) in Bandar Seri Begawan from 03 to 05 September 2018.

Embassy’s Chargé d’Affaires, a.i. Pete Raymond V. Delfin also attended the event along with other heads of diplomatic missions in Brunei.

The highlights of the 38^th ASEANAPOL Conference included the discussion among ASEAN Member States and with dialogue partners on key issues, and the signing of the 38^th ASEANAPOL Joint Communique which incorporates 14 adopted resolutions and new proposals.

His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and Inspector General of the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF), graced the opening ceremony of the 38^th ASEANAPOL Conference on 04 September 2018.

The 39^th ASEANAPOL Conference will be held in Vietnam in 2019. END
