President Duterte Meets the Filipino Community in Jordan

JORDAN 07 September 2018 - President Rodrigo Roa Duterte was warmly received by the Filipino Community in Jordan during his Official Visit to the country at the Cultural Palace in Amman, Jordan on 07 September 2018.

The visit was a first by a Philippine Head of State since bilateral relations were established in 1976.

The newly accredited Ambassador of the Philippines to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Akmad Atlah Sakkam introduced the President to the nearly 2,000 Filipino Community assembly who came to see the President from all over Jordan, from Aqaba in the south and from lrbid in the north.

The Filipino community meeting with the President is the culminating activity his Official visit of the President to Jordan. END
