PH Participates in Int’l Bazaar in Jakarta

JAKARTA 18 September 2018 – The Philippine Embassy in Jakarta participated in the 2018 International Bazaar–Gebyar Karya Pertiwi (masterpiece of motherland) Military and Spouses Culture held at Balai Sudirman on 06-08 September 2018.

The Philippine booth showcased Philippine-made products such as Palawan pearls, seashells and capiz products and abaca fiber handbags, which were sold out fast.

Visitors also enjoyed Philippine tourism brochures and sampled snacks donated by Oishi Jakarta and Universal Robina Corporation Jakarta.

The three-day event was organized by the spouses of Indonesian and foreign defense attachés to share their respective experiences and cultures to facilitate coordination in the implementation of Gebyar Karya Pertiwi and, subsequently, create a strong bond of friendship among each other and their foreign military counterparts.
