PH Embassy in Bahrain Holds Gala Night for “Bahrain Through Our Eyes”

MANAMA 18 September 2018 – The Philippine Embassy in Manama, in cooperation with the Bahrain Financial Harbour, hosted a VIP Gala Night for the “Bahrain Through Our Eyes” exhibit under the patronage of Sheikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa at the 3rd floor, Harbour Gate West Tower of the Bahrain Financial Harbour on 10 September 2018.
The Gala Night was attended by the exhibit patron Sheikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Philippine Ambassador to Bahrain Alfonso A. Ver and his wife Belinda Caroline C. Ver, government officials of Bahrain, members of the Diplomatic Corps and the business community, as well as leaders and members of the Filipino Community.
In celebration of the 40th anniversary of bilateral relations between the Philippines and Bahrain, the all Filipino exhibit features various artworks showcasing Bahrain, as seen through the lens of Filipino artists.
The artworks include paintings using oil, acrylic, water-based paint, charcoal and mixed media, as well as photography.
The exhibit will run until 12 September 2018. END
