New Honorary Consul Canton of Ticino, Switzerland Takes Oath

BERNE 21 September 2018 — Ms. Anna Margherita Maffeis-Natale took her Oath of Office as Philippine Consul, ad honorem, with jurisdiction over the Canton of Ticino before Philippine Ambassador to Switzerland Denis Yap Lepatan on 12 September 2018 at the Embassy.

Ambassador Lepatan congratulated Ms. Maffeis on her appointment and welcomed her to the Embassy then he also expressed confidence that Ms. Maffeis will effectively fulfil her duties as Honorary Consul.

Ms. Maffeis was accompanied by her spouse, Mr. Peitro Maffeis, and consular staff, Sara Piattini, during the event.

The Honorary Consulate in Ticino is scheduled to open in the latter part of the 2018. END
